Watt Games has revealed Tsarevna, a dark fantasy third-person action game coming to PC via Steam in 2026. It’s a bold shift from their last title, Hannah’s Day, leaning into combat, myth, and art.

You play as the Tsarevna, a young warrior and heir to a broken dynasty. Armed with a magical sword born from emotion, she fights creatures from Slavic myth, wraiths, mermaids, forest spirits, and uncovers secrets of a ruined world.

What makes Tsarevna different is its combat. Movements are captured from Alyona Kovalyova, a principal dancer from the Bolshoi Ballet. Every attack, dodge, and combo flows with real balletic precision. The fights are choreographed performances, both deadly and beautiful.

The game’s world draws heavily from Slavic folklore. You’ll explore dark villages, sacred ruins, and even the skybound land of Iriy. The story is shaped by themes of grief, legacy, and the cost of power. Optional boss encounters with gods let you choose—seek their blessing or challenge their rule.

  • A dark fantasy setting drawn from pagan myths
  • Fluid magic and combo-based combat
  • Deep storytelling tied to grief and legacy
